Cornus alternifolia - Pagoda Dogwood

MOISTURE: Medium
LIGHT: Full sun to part shade

Pagoda Dogwoods are loved for their clusters of white blossoms in the spring, small size and interest for pollinators and birds. Grows best in full sun to partial shade. Likes wetter, well-drained acidic soils. Able to withstand the jugalone from walnut trees. Can withstand bursts of cold better than Flowering Dowgood. Burgundy leaves in fall.

1 gallon size is about 4 feet tall (as of May 2021).
